New York City (June 21, 2007) – Four years ago there was minimal exposure for young unknown animators to exhibit and promote their artistry.  That was, until the very first animation festival debuted in New York capturing immediate worldwide attention. 

2009 Animation Film Festival is now opened for submissions. The NYC premiere event is the country’s largest animation film festival and is set to run July 24th to July 26th in Brooklyn.
