The film features an all-star cast including two-time Golden Globe® winner, Kathleen Turner (Romancing The Stone, Prizzi’s Honor), Emily Deschanel (Fox TV’s “Bones”), Jason Ritter (NBC TV’s “Parenthood”), Elizabeth Peña (The Incredibles, Jacob’s Ladder), Golden Globe Winner Richard Chamberlain (TV’s “The Bourne Identity” and “Thorn Birds”) and Emmy Award Winner Sharon Lawrence (TV’s “NYPD Blue”).
The family comedy made its debut at the Tribeca film festival in 2010, had a recent screening at the Miami Film Festival, and will open theatrically this May. The film will be available on DVD beginning June 26th with special bonus features.
The independent distributor also recently nabbed rights of the Seattle International Film Festival’s ‘Youth Jury Award’ recipient….Produced and narrated by Academy Award® nominated actor, Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson), #ReGENERATION will get a DVD release date this Summer from Virgil Films & Entertainment. Founded by Joe Amodei, the NY distributor has acquired exclusive North American DVD rights to the documentary based on the story of today’s generation.
The documentary features conversations with author/linguist Noam Chomsky, hip-hop artist Talib
Kweli, the lead activist behind the Occupy Wall Street movement, Kalle Lasn, and an original score by STS9. The DVD will debut July 7, 2012.
